Safety training
Staff are offered the opportunity to attend a basic first aid course.
The course is intended for anyone who wants to practise the fundamentals of resuscitation and learn how to use the defibrillators now available in all school buildings. A useful course for everyone.

Essential first aid skills will be taught, including basic resuscitation, dressing of wounds, splinting of fractures, responses to hypothermia, and more. The course will also cover how to respond to acute illness.
The course will place particular emphasis on how to manage emergencies during field trips, where help may take some time to arrive, and what to do while waiting for assistance.

Introductory course for those who intend to work in laboratories.
A useful overview course intended for those starting laboratory work for the first time, but also suitable for those who would like to refresh some basic principles.
The course will cover cooperation, responsibility, working practices, safety equipment, handling of hazardous waste, and other relevant topics.

The course is aimed at people who work in laboratories where radioactive materials are handled. This is an overview course that discusses different sources of radiation, basic principles of radiation protection, responsibility, work methods and more.
The course is also useful for others, e.g. users of XRF and radioactive materials (class C activities, hazard class 4-5 radioactive sources).
